Last evening was truly unforgettable, celebrating diversity at its finest! I had the pleasure of attending the Women in Architecture panel discussion at Tropicana Field, where I gained invaluable insights into the current ballpark project from two remarkable female architects and leaders, Whitley Stephens, AIA, NCARB, NOMA, LEED Green Assoc., and Colleen Cassidy, AIA, NCARB. The panel was expertly chaired by Melanie Lenz, CDO for the Tampa Bay Rays, a fellow Pittsburgher with degrees from Duquesne University & University of Pittsburgh.
The vision for the new ballpark is nothing short of remarkable, with these women leaders and their teams meticulously considering every aspect of the fan experience to ensure the new facility meets the needs of the Tampa Bay Rays and the City of St. Petersburg community for years to come.
It was fantastic to catch up with my networking partner, Dylan Kesterson, CFP®, and I was equally thrilled to make new connections with Melanie Lenz, Whitley Stephens, AIA, NCARB, NOMA, LEED Green Assoc., Colleen Cassidy, AIA, NCARB, Megan Manaras, Alison Shaw, Cynthia Jones, Jenn Lanning, Manny Ferix, Conor Joyce, John Prokop, & Roger Anderson. Here’s to the power of collaboration and innovation in shaping our future!
